We sell carbon-steel pans, wooden spoons, sheet pans, and bench scrapers from one room at 48 Flat Street in Brattleboro. Pans are seasoned on the bench before they leave. A carbon scraper can leave with an edge. Nothing is served. If you came to eat, this is the wrong door.

The handle is bare steel. It stays hot after the pan looks quiet. I learned that on my left wrist, and the mark is still there.

Carbon pans

Skillets we season ourselves with grapeseed oil. The handle is steel. A bare hand is a mistake.

Wood spoons

Maple, cherry, and walnut, sanded and oiled on the bench. They stain. A wet jar will split them.

  • Walnut wide spoon$2611 inches. For emptying a pot, not for a thin sauce.

Sheet pans

Aluminized steel, rolled rim, no coating. A hot sheet in a cold sink twists, and we cannot twist it back.

Bench scrapers

One stays blunt and shrugs off a rinse. The carbon one takes an edge and rusts if you leave it wet. Edges are on the sharpening page.

Prices are before Vermont tax. Call during open hours if you need a piece held until the door locks. We do not hold over a closed day.
